Elaine (Katya Santos) is a night-shift toll booth operator a young woman with unfulfilled dreams and limited hopes. Her husband Orly (Raymond Bagatsing) is an equally disillusioned man angry at the world that to him seems cruel and unfair. Their misery starts when Elaine feels that Orly is failing to satisfy her urge for life and love. Thus Elaine seeks the companionship of Miguel (Carlo Maceda) who somehow completes her sexual interest. The battle for pleasure love and life becomes complicated as the story unfolds.
George and Bin are orphans with dreams of making it big in the music scene. But when they leave the orphanage to try their luck, they end up as helpers in a junk shop. One day, George witnesses an accident involving an engaged couple, Wendy and Austin. He immediately rushes Wendy to the hospital, but the incident has cost her her eyesight. George decides to help Wendy through the ordeal, and soon develops feeling for her. He and Bin hatch numerous crazy schemes to make Wendy fall for George, while Bin himself has started to develop his own relationship with another girl, Jo. Suddenly Bin and George receive an invitation from a recording company for a concert. It's the break they've been waiting for. But is this the start of something big, or the end of their romantic bliss?
