DOA: Cari JodohDoyok (Fedi Nuril), Otoy (Pandji Pragiwaksono), Ali Oncom (Dwi Sasono) are three men who have different backgrounds but have the same fate in the hard life of the capital city: misfortune. Doyok who is innocent, naïve, honest, identical with surjan-blangkon (Javanese shirt and hat), and has no money but has an exorbitant ideals: want to be a member of parliament. Otoy is a husband, unemployed, and afraid of his wife. He always has an idea to “cheat” his wife and in-laws for the benefit of himself. Ali Oncom, the kampong playboy, has an exorbitant style. His profession is a part time motorcycle taxi and a widow hunter. The same fate that makes them friends ... Otoy and Ali Oncom remind Doyok to immediately find a mate. Doyok does not care, but in the evening he dreams of meeting his deceased mother that reminding him to marry. Doyok welcomes the offer of Otoy and Ali Oncom to find a mate: blind date through social media with Ayu (Laura Basuki), and matchmaking with Suci (Titi Kamal), an office district staff. They are firstly carried away to funny adventures, but then get caught in a difficult situation. Insya Allah SahWhen he comes to Dion's office, her fiancée, Silvi is trapped in an elevator with Raka, a religious, innocent, and strange, young man who works for Dion. Fearing that this would be the end of her life, Silvi vows, if she survives, she would turn her life into a devout Muslim woman. For a second after she speaks the vow, the elevator door opens.
