Dibawah Lindungan Ka'bahHamid, a smart, pious, poor young man with courtesy, lives among the family of Hajj Jaffar, a benevolent, pious person who never discriminate people based on social standing and wealth. Hamid highly respects the family and considers Hajj Jaffar as his own father. Likewise, Hajj Jaffar considers him, fatherless, as his own son. Hajj Jaffar puts Hamid in a reputable school. In return, Mak Hamid, Hamid’s mother,works for Hajj Jaffar’s family. Hamid’s relationship with Mak Asiah, Hajj Jaffar’s wife, and their only daughter, Zainab, is also on good terms.
