El excepcionalmente dotado Rey Fantasma, He Simu, se cruza inesperadamente con el joven general Duan Xu mientras se encuentra de descanso, en busca de alimento. Este joven general —quien porta un objeto perteneciente a alguien del pasado de He Simu— no parece ser el verdadero Duan Xu. A medida que se ponen a prueba mutuamente a través de sutiles intercambios, He Simu desvela gradualmente el oscuro pasado y las aspiraciones ocultas en el corazón de Duan Xu. A su vez, Duan Xu descubre la entereza y la soledad que He Simu ha soportado. A pesar de la efímera vida de un mortal —que no supera los cien años— y de la existencia de un fantasma de cuatrocientos años que aún conserva la apariencia de una joven, ambos desafían el implacable paso del tiempo a través de su amor.

Las enredadas relaciones dentro del grupo de amigos de Easter y North comienzan a agitarse nuevamente. Typhoon se reencuentra con su antiguo hermano mayor de al lado, Tonfah, solo para descubrir que el secreto que dejaron atrás aún duele. Aun así, está dispuesto a regresar a la vida de Tonfah de cualquier manera posible.  

Daotok, el chico artístico que puede hablar con los espíritus, es arrastrado a regañadientes por su vecino Athit en la búsqueda del alma de su difunta madre. Sin embargo, mientras más persiguen a los muertos, más se llenan sus corazones de algo nuevo.  

Tiger, el solitario hijo menor de una familia poderosa, conoce a su compañero de clase Duennao durante las pruebas de fútbol. Su primer choque se convierte en calidez—una que hace que Tiger quiera cruzar la línea de la amistad hacia algo más.  

Tres parejas. Lágrimas, despedidas y la frágil línea entre amigos y algo más profundo—comienzan de nuevo.

Gi Haneul (interpretado por Hwang Junsu), de 29 años, sufre un accidente repentino.  
Al despertar, descubre que ha perdido por completo los recuerdos de los últimos 10 años.  

Pero lo más impactante es la primera persona que ve: Yeo Saebyeok (interpretado por Lee Jawoon), su antiguo rival escolar, alguien con quien jamás quiso volver a cruzarse.  
Sin embargo, ahora Saebyeok está a su lado como su devoto cuidador, insistiendo en que son amantes.  

Entre los vacíos de sus recuerdos y emociones que no logra comprender, verdades ocultas comienzan a revelarse, junto con una pregunta que Haneul ya no puede eludir:
