Parental Controls allow you to manage what your children can and cannot watch on iflix.

iflix has grouped its TV shows and movies into 4 ratings categories:

  • Little kids - For children of ALL ages. Themes and elements of programs under this rating are specifically designed for a very young audience, including children from ages 2-6.
  • Older kids - For children ages 7 and up. Themes and elements of programs under this rating may include mild fantasy, violence or comedic violence. May not be suitable for very young children.
  • Teens - Parents strongly cautioned. Contains one or more of the following: intensely suggestive dialogue, strong coarse language, intense sexual situations, or intense violence. May be unsuitable for pre-teens under the age of 14. Parental monitoring is advised.
  • Adults - Restricted. Contains adult materials including hard language, tough violence, nudity within sensual scenes, drug abuse or other elements, or a combination of some of the aforementioned.

You can activate Parental Controls by doing the following:

If you want to register a 6th device, tough luck... you can't. Joking! (Well, actually we're not) You need to remove 1 device that is registered to make way for the new one you intend to connect.

Check out the here.

Simply play a TV show or movie on your chosen compatible device and leave the rest to us! Our systems will automatically detect your favourite devices and remember them accordingly. You won't need to lift a finger – it's that easy.

Deregistering one of your iflix-compatible devices is an extremely easy process. Just make sure that you:

  2. Click "My Account."
  3. Click "Administer Devices."

They're sometimes small and sometimes large. The total size of a TV show or movie varies from title to title, depending on the length of the episode or movie and depending on the quality at which you stream. The better the quality of your connection, the better the quality of stream we will jam down your pipe. As a rough benchmark, a 90 minute movie will require approximately 700MB (Megabytes).

If you are concerned with your data usage limits, we suggest you consult with your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or Mobile operator to determine your data allowance and whether it is appropriate to use with the iflix streaming service.

Our content is updated every month, or every week, or sometimes every day if we feel fancy, so you'll never have to watch the same thing twice (unless that's how you roll). Our aim is to be continously more awesome by continuously adding value to your continuous iflix subscription.

Wanna pay to play? We’ve got you covered two ways:

  1. Sign up with iflix using your credit card / debit card
  2. Sign up with iflix through online banking

For now, Philippine subscribers only have the option of paying through credit card. If you’re in Malaysia, you can choose which option suits you best! Unfortunately, we can’t accept any check payments so put your checkbook away!

Good news ladies and gents, any international bank is acceptable! Just make sure your card has the “Mastercard” or “Visa” logo on it and you’re good to go!

Online banking (via Financial Process Exchange) is our coolest payment feature. If you’re lucky enough to live in Malaysia, you’ll have this option available to you. You’ll find it at the following Malaysian banks: Affin, Ambank, CIMB, Hong Leong, Maybank, Public bank and RHB.

And don’t you worry, friends in the Philippines! We’re working tirelessly to make this option available for you guys real soon!

Commitment's a big step, sure, but we’re in it for the long haul with you. You could be with us just a month at a time (even if you and I both know it’ll go by all too quickly). Or you could go for a full year of pure entertainment bliss. Either way, credit cards / debit cards get you the option of subscribing ANNUALLY or MONTHLY if you prefer to pace yourself. Online banking requires your full commitment because it’s only up for ANNUAL subscriptions. Choose as your heart desires.

If iflix has you wanting more from the get-go, you won’t be able to subscribe until you’re notified that your trial subscription is ending. At that point, you’ll get an email from us on how to get full access. Our advice: enjoy the trial until it expires!

There are no hidden charges! If you get through the trial and decide that you don’t want to subscribe just yet, your account will remain inactive. This means you’ll be able to log on to iflix but you won’t be able to watch content ☹. On a positive note, you can always just sign up when you’re ready!☺

You’re having video playback problems? Binge-watching came to a screeching halt? No worries, we’ll help you get through it.

Some tips:

  1. First, we'll need to see if there's something up with your connection and/or your player and we can't do that unless you PLAY. First, play another iflix tv show or movie on your laptop. If that works, see if you can still play a video when you connect to a different network. And if that works, try streaming other videos and see how that pans out.
  2. Have you been keeping up with the latest version of iflix? Be sure that your app has been updated to the latest version – that’s currently 1.1.10 for Android and 1.1.2 (32) for iOS. That might just work out all the kinks.
  3. If all else fails, give our specialists a holler at They’re going to need your sign-in email and screenshots of your “About” page in the “My Account” menu. Plus, go ahead and send them the make and model of your device too. Never hurts to be specific!
