In the early years of the Republic of China, Su Manli, a stand-in dancer at the XianYuess Club, crosses paths with Chen Bi, a noblewoman whose family has been tragically wiped out, while searching for her father’s killer. Borrowing Chen Bi's identity, Su Manli approaches Yang Ziqin, a council member of the Haitang Society, to uncover the truth behind the Chen family massacre.
