Baiyun Ghost House

A coffin shop called Baiyunzhai is said to bring bad luck; anyone associated with it will suffer from the "five harms and three lacks." A series of bizarre events shakes the town: first, Liu Mazi is killed by a water ghost in a well, and then a butcher, whose soul was taken by an underworld messenger, slaughters his entire family. These strange and unsettling occurrences prompt Ma Sanye, a wandering hermit, to come to Baiyunzhai to hunt ghosts and ward off evil.
