He immediately places an order of this outfit, hoping that it would help elude the bears’ attention while he’s at his nasty business. The next day, Vick arrives at the forest wearing the cloak. The bears aren’t even aware of his presence, which makes his felling work carry out smoothly. In the mean time, the bears are bewildered about the missing trees, but fail to catch the tree-murderer. Vick also starts a fight between the bear brothers by attacking them separately on the sly and making it look like an inside conflict. Briar starts to sense the weirdness of the matter. Since Vick is the top suspect on their list, they sneak into his house at night and find out about the invisible cloak. Briar spreads pollen all over the cloak as part of his fight-back plan. The next day, Vick goes to the forest in the cloak. But he has no idea why a cluster of bees are following him whenever he goes, which helps the bears track down his movements. In one session of their training, Logger Vick teaches the bears how to meditate. While the bears sit still with their eyes closed, Logger Vick drives his forklift to move a big cage to cover the bears. But to his surprise, Bramble twists the bars and the bear brothers walk out of the cage. In the end, Vick talks the bear into a boxing fight. He says after this fight, they’ll know who the best kung fu fighter is. The bears argue that Logger Vick is their master and he is currently the best kung fu fighter. When Bramble returns for the chips, he falls into Vick’s scheme and gets clamped. Luckily, he is strong enough to break free from it. Vick strengthens the attack capability of the machine by charging it. When Bramble comes back again to get the chips, the electrified giant clamp catches him off guard. But in the mean time, they are driven up the wall by Vick’s increasingly impossible horseplay. He immediately drives them away. After the bears are off his property, Vick thinks he could take advantage of the bears’ curiosity in his dance mat so that while they are having fun with the dance mat he could log trees in the forest without any interruption. Logger Vick places his dance mat in the open wild; the bears are drawn to it by the loud music. Warren sees Vick cutting down trees; he reports it to the bears. Briar sends Bramble for Vick. He invites Vick to have a dance contest with them. Vick laughs when he hears this, because he thinks there’s no way the clumsy bears could beat him in dancing. Thus, he reaches a deal with the bears. If Logger Vick wins, he can log 100 trees; if he loses, he needs to plant 1000 trees. Completely out of Vick’s expectation, Briar is a natural for dancing. Briar is the winner of the contest. He returned with a cart of delicious food for the bears and expressed his apology for his bad old ways. The bears glutted themselves with the meal and fell asleep. Vick tried to get down to his chopping business. But the bears wouldn’t let go, and Vick had to go back and forth to soothe them to rest. Exhausted from such repeating running, he decided to do his job elsewhere in the forest. Hardly had he cut down one single tree when the bears showed up to stop him. It turned out that the bears had seen through his scheme from the very beginning and were waiting for Vick to expose himself. Vick tried in vain to win back the bears’ trust. Vick promises all the above to the bears as long as they sign a contract with him, which actually says the bears will leave the forest forever and shall never come back again.
