After working 10 hours a day, every day - Monday to Friday, we finally got to enjoy our lovely weekend; where we had the most delicious Malaysian traditional breakfast, explored a very touristy place in KL - BATU CAVES, ventured to some local markets where we found the most delicious fruits and of course got soaked in the craziest rain storm!...
Best Rooftop Bar in Kuala Lumpur
2. Best Rooftop Bar in Kuala Lumpur

We've started the day eating some delicious food at one of the local restaurants as we needed a lot of energy to walk around the city and climb up to all those bridges at KL Forest Eco Park. After all that 'workout' we started walking towards Heli Lounge Bar, but we suddenly came across a bar that served 'happy hour' drinks so of course we had to stop there too. Those Mochitos were super refreshing on such a hot day. Towards the end of the day, we finally made it to Heli Lounge Bar which was actually recommended by 'TRAVEL BEANS'. Even though it was raining, we still managed to have the most amazing time, whilst chatting to fellow travel lovers, drinking more beer and enjoying the 360 view of Kuala Lumpur....
Celebrating Chinese New Year in Kuala Lumpur
3. Celebrating Chinese New Year in Kuala Lumpur

We have had the most fun day celebrating Chinese New Year! We were really worried that everything will be closed as it's a public holiday here in Malaysia but luckily everything was pretty much open and it was busier than we have ever expected! We started our day by visiting the one most beautiful Buddhist temples we have ever seen so far - Thean Hou Temple. We have also been caught in the rain which is a normality these days but it is so refreshing that we can't even complaint about it! We have also ate like little piggies, but we definitely enjoyed all that Lok Lok around the Petaling Jaya area....
Staying in a Capsule Hotel in Malaysia
4. Staying in a Capsule Hotel in Malaysia

We have decided to leave our beloved Kuala Lumpur for three days and explore other cities of Malaysia. Everyone that is watching our YouTube videos, has recommended us to go to Malacca and that's exactly what we did; traveled southwest coast of Malay Peninsula to explore Malacca City and we did not regret a thing! Our place for accommodation might be a bit different to what you'd expect it to be in Malaysia but saw these 'spacey' looking capsules on booking.com and decided to give this ago! And woooow! What a cool experience! One capsule had more gadgets and buttons than all of our tech gear together haha!...

Tourists Making Malaysia Kuih
9. Tourists Making Malaysia Kuih

Myself and Micha have truly enjoyed everything about this trip because it’s very different to what we are normally used to and we always like to spice things up during our travels. We have never heard about Raub before and when we were invited to join on this trip, we were a little sceptical thinking that who’s going to want to watch our videos from unknown town in Malaysia? However, when the day came, when we met the people at the office, got to meet fellow travel lovers... after several interactions with locals, getting to know their lifestyles, their traditions, asking them questions and listening to their stories that go way back before we were even born - we knew that Raub was something very different to what everyone is used to and that we needed to keep going because it was getting better and better....

We also witness the oldest standing Musang King Tree in Malaysia that was planted by a very kind man 32 years ago....

So don't get us wrong, the actual Windmill "VIEWPOINT" is spectacular, looking out from Pulau Kecil towards the stunning turquoise waters and coral reefs BUT it is worth mentioning that it is pretty run down and in desperate need of repair. Great for those who are thrill seekers but not so great if you are clumsy and have a strong opinion on conservation, especially the rising issue of plastic waste....
