J-Pop is back and more popular than ever in Thailand. Many young girls dream of joining the popular idol group. They dream of becoming famous. They want to be in the spotlight, they want to wear the coolest costumes and perform in front of huge crowds. But it is not easy to be in an idol group. These young girls or ‘members’ have to abide by strict rules for at least 6 years. Forget about having a normal teenager life. Forget about dating. These members must rehearse day and night. They must get rid of their old personas and replace them with the ‘innocent, girl-next-door’ image that the fans or ‘Ota’ fans approve. FAME would like to audition for the popular idol group called ‘Newtype’. Her true agenda is to find out about the death of her younger sister FARN who used to be a member in this idol group. She has a reason to believe that her sister was badly bullied by other Newtype members. Fame asks her Ota friend for help to transform her into an innocent, girl-next-door idol type of girl. She later gets accepted into the group.
